On February 18th, we’re hosting a dinner with the cast and company of our upcoming production, Sanctuary Song.

And we invite you to join us. Your day will begin at 4pm in a conversation with Artistic Director, Lynda Hill, a performance of Sanctuary Song at 4:30pm, followed by a reception and dinner at 6pm.

Winter Camp plans are heating up and we’re gathering an amazing team of friendly and super talented lead artists including award-winning composer and drama educator Nicky Phillips and Artistic Director Lynda Hill with guest artists in visual arts, dance/movement and design.

Morning sessions include great visual arts, puppetry making & performance, outdoor play, camp games, winter-themed crafting and theatre based design activities.

Afternoon sessions include, drama, improve, music, dance and movement.

Toronto Arts Foundation: CALLING ON ARTS SUPPORTERS PROTECT TORONTO’S ARTS FUNDING WRITE YOUR COUNCILLOR! On November 28, the City Manager presented the 2012 Operating Budget to the City’s Budget Committee. The proposed budget recommends a 10% cut to arts grants. If passed, city arts funding will be reduced by $1.94 million. Clearly, this would affect Toronto’s cultural vitality and reduce or eliminate arts programming including performances, exhibitions, festivals, readings and events that are vital to Toronto residents and visitors. Theatre Direct in support of Toronto Arts Foundation and Friends of the Arts Network are calling on all arts supporters to show their support. Join us on December 4 and December 11 for two wonderful Family Sunday Series events. On December 4th, Governor General Award-Winning artist Cybele Young shares her acclaimed book 10 Birds for children and families. On December 11th, Barry Shiffman, critically acclaimed violinist, appears with members of the RCM’s Young Artist Academy.

On December 17 & 18, the Juno nominated band The Bees Knees buzz into the Barns for fun, family concerts. Bring all your little honey bees for some pre-holiday festivities! December 17, 11:00 am and December 18th, 3pm.

Tickets to all Family Series events are only $5.00!
