Pinocchio wants to become a real boy! In his pursuit to belong, he runs away and encounters many exciting adventures. This classic story is re-told by this acclaimed Franco-Ontarian Puppetry company from Ottawa. A world of magic, fantasy and endearing friendship is creating simply using minimal and accessible French language, puppetry, live music and vocal soundscapes.

Pinocchio cherche son identité. Il veut devenir un vrai petit garçon. Il veut brûler les étapes et va d’aventure en aventure. Même si c’est lui qui se sauve, il a peur d’être abandonné par Gepetto.
Ce conte moderne comprend plusieurs thèmes qui rejoignent les soucis des petits enfants. Toute la magie du récit tient dans une valise : des découpes en relief servent de décor et des objets prennent vie grâce au jeu d’un interprète aux mille voix.
In its 32 year history, Cie Vox Théâtre has created and produced 45 plays and given close to 1,500 performances in front of 300,000 people. Cie Vox Théâtre has also performed 6 of its plays at La Nouvelle Scène (LNS) since 1999. Since 2001, it has produced a popular series of plays for young audiences at LNS and has provided an artistic educational service for schools and the community.
